Charlotte, NC – June 25, 2004 – Rapid expansion and a growing metropolitan area have laid fertile ground for the launch of a periodical designed to connect urbania to the State of the Arts and Culture. SOTAC Magazine will launch its first issue Thursday, July 8, 2004.
The magazine will be available on a quarterly basis at select restaurants, art galleries, boutiques, coffee shops, record stores, gourmet grocery stores, barbershops, salons, spas hotels, lounges, and cultural centers in the NoDa, Uptown, Elizabeth, Plaza/ Midwood, Dilworth, South Park, Arboretum and Ballantyne areas.
SOTAC Magazine was created out of the passion the publishers have for the magazine format, but it also challenges, provokes and informs readers offering new ways to observe the arts and stay culturally aware. SOTAC magazine produces work of the highest artistic and literary merit for a readership that values the arts and culture with a desire to stay dedicated and enriched.
