Charlotte, NC –February 27, 2006- The First Ward Child Development Center will host its annual Healthy Fun Fair on Saturday, April 1, 2006 at ImaginOn – The Joe and Joan Martin Center in uptown Charlotte from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The Healthy Fun Fair is a collaborative effort between First Ward Child Development Center, the North Carolina Association for the Education of Young Children Southwest, and the National Black Child Development Institute. The objective of the event is to give children and their families a chance to have fun together and understand the importance of good health. “We want the parents to know that there is a need to be healthy,” says Eleanor Toliver, Director of First Ward Child Development Center.

We encourage parents to bring their children for an exciting day of fun and learning at ImaginOn. The day of fun includes Face Painting, Arts and Crafts, Yoga and Music, Magic, Nutritionists, Pediatricians, Pediatric Dentists and Safety Experts.
